Time sensitive!!! For parents with LEGO lovers
Lego is doing a brick take back! What does that mean? LEGO will buy up to 25 pounds of your loose LEGO stash and give you a credit view e-gift card for the LEGO store. They’re giving $2.50/lb. You do the math!
Here’s the link to start the process (super easy).
I think they do it once a year (maybe?) and they donate all of the used bricks to less fortunate children. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️ Apparently LEGO, from what I’ve learned, cannot be recycled easily in landfills because of the high end plastic they use, so they occasionally buy back bricks and donate them to keep them out of landfills.
A+ service
A+ business practices
This has been a fantastic way to talk about the environment with Ollie, clean out the old the old and make space for the new. He was reluctant at first to let his loose bricks go, even with the gift card incentive, but eventually came around when I explained we need to make room for MORE LEGO in his LEGO city.
Thought I’d share since so many of us are wondering what the heck to do with all these loose LEGO laying around?
Hugs!
